Elegant decanter in blown glass with swirl decoration of the Art Nouveau style, set with four spout sterling silver collar, pine cone stopper. Ideal for serving whisky, liqueurs as well as port and sherry; antique English 1898.
Condition: small surface chips, mainly round the base, scratches
As a major international style, in different countries Art Nouveau had different names. For example, it was called Jugendstil in Germany, Secession in Austria, Stile Liberty in Italy and Modern in Russia. Essentially this was a new art and design, breaking away from the old, traditional aesthetics.

How to care

Better avoid dishwasher for old glassware - it is safe but sand particles in the water will eventually make the surface dull.
