Medium glass Nelson decanter
Antique English,
Classical cut glass Nelson decanter of a slightly rounded panelled shape with three rings on the neck and a hexagonal stopper; antique English 1830s. Ideal for serving port and sherry but also small enough for whisky.
Condition: some surface wear, a few surface chips on tip of the stopper
Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.

How to care

Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
