View condition. Elegant medium jug with ribbed pattern of a globular shape, ideal for displaying flowers, of the Art Deco style; vintage English 1930s.

Condition: cracked, near the handle

The style of Art Deco was dominant in the 1920s, 30s and 40s. It originated in France, and is short for Arts Decoratifs, inspired by the 1925 Paris world fair «International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts». The style was dominant in architecture and the everyday design, including homewares and home decorations.
