Spectacular small Art Deco pottery jug of a heavy baluster shape with abstract decoration, great for serving water at the dinner table, by Roskyl Pottery; vintage English 1930s.
Condition: minor surface wear
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.

Pottery care
