Attractive ship decanter in moulded glass of a pyramid shape with hobnail pattern, of the retro style. Ideal for serving port, sherry and table wine; vintage Continental European late 20th century.

Technically Retro refers to a new item that imitates any old style and design. Homewares in such style were produced from around the 1970s onward. Retro designed items often have a mix of decorative elements from several different styles that were popular in the past.

Clean glass jugs, wine decanters and claret jugs immediately after use - that way it is easy to remove the stains before they set onto the glass surface.
How to care
Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
