Spectacular large ship decanter with triple ring neck, of the Late Georgian style, set wit ha bull’s eye stopper. Ideal for serving port, sherry and table wine; antique English 19th century.

Late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.

How to care
Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
