Rose decorated German porcelain tea set for six with 6 cups and saucers, 6 small plates, 2 cake plates, a creamer and a sugar bowl, 1930s.
Size cm: Cake plate 21.6 cm diameter, bowl 14 cm diameter, cup 6.3 cm high
Size inches: Cake plate 8 ½ inch diameter, bowl 5 ½ inch diameter, cup 2 ½ inch high
Condition: vintage — gilding rubbed, one cup with a hairline and a chip on the lip

How to care
Avoid washing gilded and overglaze painted ceramics in a dishwasher. Tiny sand particles in the water will eventually make the decoration look dull.
How to care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
