Opulent Art Deco tea set for four persons with 4 cups, 4 saucers and 4 plates, in pottery with orange and green floral decor; vintage English 1930s.
Condition: chip on the rim of one cake plate
The famous novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald was written in 1925 and is set in the contemporary Art Deco period. The story perfectly catches the opulent lifestyle of the Roaring Twenties with its spectacular parties, also known as the Jazz Age.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
