Elegant tea set in pottery for six with 6 cups and 6 saucers, with Daisy decoration in black and white of the Modernist style, by Carlton Ware; vintage English 1960s.

Homewares in the period between 1950s to 1970s were often produced in Modernist style. Defined by neat lines, bold and unusual colours and fairly minimalist shapes. All this often makes Modernist items very functional and timeless.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
