Opulent large coffee set for six, including 6 cups, 6 saucers and a coffee pot, painted with a colourful floral pattern and gilded, of the Art Nouveau style; antique Japanese early 1900s.
Condition: small surface chips on the pot and cups, enamel worn

How to care
Avoid washing gilded and overglaze painted ceramics in a dishwasher. Tiny sand particles in the water will eventually make the decoration look dull.
How to care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
