Rustic decanter with panelled pattern of the Art Deco style, set with a mushroom stopper. Ideal for serving whisky, liqueurs as well as port and sherry; vintage English 1930s.
Condition: minor surface wear, clouded
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.
