Charming porcelain tall stem bowl on elegant spreading foot, printed with roses, airbrushed in pastel orange and gilded; antique German Art Nouveau early 1900s.

Art Nouveau was a major international style dominating the art, architecture and design between about 1890 and the mid-1910s. It took its inspiration from the nature and used the forms of flowers, trees, birds, animals and insects in design elements.

How to care
Avoid washing gilded and overglaze painted ceramics in a dishwasher. Tiny sand particles in the water will eventually make the decoration look dull.
How to care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
