The most popular decorative elements used in the Egyptian Revival style are lotus flowers and plants and papyrus columns, a well as sphinxes, pharaohs masks and animals. Some more elaborate products may entirely copy the shape and design of an ancient Egyptian item.

How to care
Avoid washing gilded and overglaze painted ceramics in a dishwasher. Tiny sand particles in the water will eventually make the decoration look dull.
How to care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
