Elegant tapered vase on a thick base in dark green blown glass, designed by Tamara Aladin, pattern 1364 by Riihimaen Lasi Oy marked on the base; vintage Finnish 1970s.

Homewares in the period between 1950s to 1970s were often produced in Modernist style. Defined by neat lines, bold and unusual colours and fairly minimalist shapes. All this often makes Modernist items very functional and timeless.
