Elegant tall pottery flower vase with pal blue and white floral decoration and a gilded band, of a slender baluster shape, by Burgess & Leigh; antique English Art Nouveau, early 1900s.
Condition: some glaze discolouration
As a major international style, in different countries Art Nouveau had different names. For example, it was called Jugendstil in Germany, Secession in Austria, Stile Liberty in Italy and Modern in Russia. Essentially this was a new art and design, breaking away from the old, traditional aesthetics.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
