Delightful porcelain tea set with a teapot, creamer and a sugar bowl, porcelain with green floral Daphne pattern by Noritake; vintage Japanese 1950s.
Condition: Fine, minor surface wear
Mid-Century Modern homeware products were made to be as useful as possible, with clear lines and simple design. Decoration was minimal and based on colours and elegant curving lines, illustrating the fact of mechanical production.

How to care
Avoid washing gilded and overglaze painted ceramics in a dishwasher. Tiny sand particles in the water will eventually make the decoration look dull.
How to care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
