Vintage English,
Spectacular Art Deco coffee set for six, including a coffee pot, creamer, sugar bowl, 6 cups and 6 saucers, in cream porcelain with multicoloured floral decoration by Grindley; antique English, circa 1930.
Condition: small chip on lip of one cup, otherwise fine
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
