Slick Modernist coffee set for six persons with Heirloom decoration in pottery, by Hornsea; vintage English 1970s; including a coffee pot, 6 cups, 6 saucers and a creamer.
Condition: small chip on base of one cup
Homewares in the period between 1950s to 1970s were often produced in Modernist style. Defined by neat lines, bold and unusual colours and fairly minimalist shapes. All this often makes Modernist items very functional and timeless.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
