Elegant bone china tea set for four persons, including 4 cups, 4 saucers, 4 plates, a creamer, a bowl and a cake plate, with floral garlands decoration in orange black and green, of the Neo-Classical style, by St Michael; antique English circa 1910.
Condition: minor surface wear
Neo-classical style looks back at and takes its design inspiration from the ancient Greece and Rome, and uses those elements in decoration. Most neo-classical items are defined by straight and clean lines, elegant repetitive floral patterns, floral garlands and gadrooning.
