Spectacular dessert serving spoons — one for serving berries and the other for sifting sugar, silver plated and with gilded bowls, with superb decoration, by Elkington & Co, antique English Victorian, bearing the company date letter for the year 1849. A must have cutlery at a fancy dinner table.
Condition: Antique — in fine condition
Long Victorian period (1838−1901) spanned over an immensely prolific time in the history of art and design. It covers such great fashions as Gothic Revival, the Pre-Raphaelites, Aesthetic Movement, Expressionism, Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau. That was quite unlike any other period.

How to care
All our cutlery can be washed normally, including ivory, bone, antler and horn handles; silver and silver plated parts can be polished.
