Large Art Deco silver plated cocktail shaker in three parts, from an Australian Oriental Line cruise ship that sailed between Hong Kong and Sydney, by Elkington & Co; vintage English mark dated 1925.
Condition: some surface wear
Art Deco style was a main step towards the modern product design, as we know it today. It replaced the nature inspired Art Nouveau and instead drew its inspiration from the age of machinery, the automobile, the moving pictures and the whole industrial progress in general; hence the prevalence of geometric forms in Art Deco items.

How to care
All our cutlery can be washed normally, including ivory, bone, antler and horn handles; silver and silver plated parts can be polished.
