Charming globular shaped jug with floral pattern in pottery, great for serving water at the dinner table, of the Mid-Century Modern style; vintage English mid 20th century.
Condition: some surface wear, scratched
The style was a natural continuation of the Art Deco. It mainly refers to the design period of 1950s and 1960s. Neat straight lines with minimal decoration — functionality of the items and simplicity of design were the key elements. Due to the shortage of resources in Europe, the style was also manifested in the popularity of small scale products.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
