Beautiful pottery jug of the Art Deco style with floral pattern, great for serving water at the dinner table, by Thomas Forester & Sons; vintage English circa 1930.
Condition: some surface wear
The famous novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald was written in 1925 and is set in the contemporary Art Deco period. The story perfectly catches the opulent lifestyle of the Roaring Twenties with its spectacular parties, also known as the Jazz Age.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
