Silver bunny salt shaker
Vintage European,
Most unusual and rare silver encased and enamelled porcelain animal table condiment in the form of a seated bunny with upturned ears, antique Art Deco, circa 1920, Continental European; silver marked 1000/1000.
Condition: Antique — very minor surface wear, missing its cork
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.

How to care
To polish lightly tarnished silver plated and silver surface, use silver polishing cloth. Polishing lightly but often makes cleaning much easier.
