Beautiful storage jar with handle, pale pink floral decoration over moulded body; pottery with brass mounts, antique English early 1900s. A great jar for dry storage and cookie serving at a tea party.
Condition: handle is fixed upright
Although Edwardian period was short, lasting between 1901 and 1910, it oversaw two major styles — Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau. Traditionally, most Edwardian items, including furniture and homewares, are elegant both in design and in decoration, well constructed and very functional. Good and tasteful design was much admired.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
