Shabby chic sauce serving condiment with two jars on a carry stand, porcelain with brass fittings, decorated in flow blue, red and gilded; by Hirsch manufacturer of Dresden. Antique German later 19th century.
Condition: 3 missing nuts, gilding worn
Long Victorian period (1838−1901) spanned over an immensely prolific time in the history of art and design. It covers such great fashions as Gothic Revival, the Pre-Raphaelites, Aesthetic Movement, Expressionism, Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau. That was quite unlike any other period.

How to care
Avoid washing gilded and overglaze painted ceramics in a dishwasher. Tiny sand particles in the water will eventually make the decoration look dull.
How to care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
