Two beautiful ceramic serving dishes with Spode’s Byron pattern and a grape vine border, of the Neo-Classical style, by Copeland; antique English 1910s.

Neo-classical style looks back at and takes its design inspiration from the ancient Greece and Rome, and uses those elements in decoration. Most neo-classical items are defined by straight and clean lines, elegant repetitive floral patterns, floral garlands and gadrooning.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
