Pop Art was a style of fine art within Mid-Century Modern 1950s and 1960s. Started in Britain and developed in the USA, it reflected the consumer culture prevalent at the time — buy new items often. Artists used every day popular objects in their works, hence the name of the style.

Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.

Traditionally, tough wine stains inside glass decanters can be removed by rolling buckshot; nowadays they are called decanter cleaning rolling balls.
