Beautiful ceramic creamer or milk jug, lustre glazed with colourful raised decoration; antique English 1830s.
Condition: fine
Late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
