Sherry stem glass
Antique English,
Rare small wine glass with panel cut decoration on a baluster stem. The interior of the glass is very thick and was made to fool customers in order to contain less liquid but visually give an illusion of a large glass; antique English Victorian 19th century. This is a port or sherry glass and it is also ideal for serving aperitif and dessert wine.
Condition: Antique — in fine condition
Long Victorian period (1838−1901) spanned over an immensely prolific time in the history of art and design. It covers such great fashions as Gothic Revival, the Pre-Raphaelites, Aesthetic Movement, Expressionism, Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau. That was quite unlike any other period.

How to care
Clean glass jugs, wine decanters and claret jugs immediately after use - that way it is easy to remove the stains before they set onto the glass surface.
How to care
Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
