Vintage German,
Classical flask small decanter with deer decoration in cut glass, of the Art Deco style. Ideal for serving whisky, liqueurs as well as port and sherry; vintage German 1920s.
Condition: minor surface wear, small chips on the body and stopper
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.

How to care
Clean glass jugs, wine decanters and claret jugs immediately after use - that way it is easy to remove the stains before they set onto the glass surface.

Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.

Traditionally, tough wine stains inside glass decanters can be removed by rolling buckshot; nowadays they are called decanter cleaning rolling balls.
How to care
Clouded surface inside a decanter is hard to fix - requires a vibrating machine; but when decanter is full with liquid, the glass becomes transparent.
