Elegant Art Deco whisky or liqueur set of a rectangular decanter with six glasses, black geometric decoration in cut glass, set with a shield stopper. Ideal for serving whisky, liqueurs as well as port and sherry; vintage Continental European 1920s.
Condition: some surface wear, scratches
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.

Glass is a pretty tough material. Wash old wine glasses normally in a warm soapy water. Watch out for gilding and enamelling - do not scrub hard.
