Attractive cut glass small decanter of the Victorian style with panelled decoration, set with a mushroom stopper. Ideal for serving whisky, liqueurs as well as port and sherry; antique English 19th century.

Long Victorian period (1838−1901) spanned over an immensely prolific time in the history of art and design. It covers such great fashions as Gothic Revival, the Pre-Raphaelites, Aesthetic Movement, Expressionism, Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau. That was quite unlike any other period.

How to care

How to care
Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
