Attractive Art Deco baluster barel decanter with crosshatch pattern in cut glass, set with a mushroom stopper. Ideal for serving whisky, liqueurs as well as port and sherry; vintage English mid 20th century.
Condition: some surface wear
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.

How to care
Clean glass jugs, wine decanters and claret jugs immediately after use - that way it is easy to remove the stains before they set onto the glass surface.
How to care
Decanters, wine carafes and narrow jugs can be cleaned using rock salt or rice and vinegar. Salt acts as an abrasive. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly.
