Unusual medium ladle for serving punch, copper bowl set with an 1806 George copper coin, black wood, probably ebony, handle; antique English early 1800s.

Late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
