Classical starter or dessert cutlery set in silver plated metal with 12 forks and 12 knives, with lavish scrolls and fish decoration of the Edwardian style, by Walker & Hall. boxed. Beautiful addition to any festive table; antique English 1903. Traditionally used as a fish course set. Although Edwardian period was short, lasting between 1901 and 1910, it oversaw two major styles - Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau. Traditionally, most Edwardian items, including furniture and homewares, are elegant both in design and in decoration, well constructed and very functional. Good and tasteful design was much admired.
