Classical pair of Sterling silver candlesticks, Egyptian reeded column with an acanthus leaf capital on a square base, dart and egg motif, by William Hutton & Sons; antique English London hallmarks for 1906.
Condition: dented surface, bent collars, worn splits on the base
Neo-classical style looks back at and takes its design inspiration from the ancient Greece and Rome, and uses those elements in decoration. Most neo-classical items are defined by straight and clean lines, elegant repetitive floral patterns, floral garlands and gadrooning.

How to care
To polish lightly tarnished silver plated and silver surface, use silver polishing cloth. Polishing lightly but often makes cleaning much easier.
