Elegant pair of small white porcelain candlesticks, twisted stems moulded and printed with floral design and gilded; antique German Art Nouveau, early 1900s.
Condition: fine, minor surface wear
As a major international style, in different countries Art Nouveau had different names. For example, it was called Jugendstil in Germany, Secession in Austria, Stile Liberty in Italy and Modern in Russia. Essentially this was a new art and design, breaking away from the old, traditional aesthetics.

How to care
