Attractive cake serving stem bowl or tazza in pottery, decorated with a floral border in blue, red, yellow and green, moulded palmette base, by Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn; antique German circa 1900.
Condition: chip on the inner rim of the base
Products made in the traditional Victorian style are often recognisable because of their lavish decoration. The design mixes various sources of inspiration, but the prevalent decorative features are rich floral ornaments, scrolls and foliage, often applied all over the items.

Pottery care
Porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be gentle with overglaze decorations.
