Beautiful sterling silver decorative bowl on stem of a ruffled shape of the Art Nouveau style, probably by Henry Wilkinson; antique English, hallmarked for Sheffield 1903.

Art Nouveau was a major international style dominating the art, architecture and design between about 1890 and the mid-1910s. It took its inspiration from the nature and used the forms of flowers, trees, birds, animals and insects in design elements.

How to care
To polish lightly tarnished silver plated and silver surface, use silver polishing cloth. Polishing lightly but often makes cleaning much easier.
