Amber glass salad bowl
Vintage English,
Spectacular blown amber glass serving bowl decorated in the Bull’s Eye pattern, Gay glass range by Webb; vintage English 1950s.
Condition: some surface wear
The style we now call Mid-Century Modern also came as a reaction to the old way of living and was the fresh start, especially in the late 1940s — early 1950s. This was done by creating light, functional designs with straight and clean lines and bold colours. Decoration was secondary; in fact the simplicity became a decoration on its own.

How to care
Clean glass jugs, wine decanters and claret jugs immediately after use - that way it is easy to remove the stains before they set onto the glass surface.
