Classical armchair with wing armrests, comfortable removable deep seat cushion and high back; vintage English, 1920s.
Condition: 2 cm tear in the upholstery on the seat cushion in the right front corner, otherwise good
Items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite — an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.
